Having fun with decor!
Hi There! You have found me – Chief Blogger of ‘The Unexpected House Guest and owner of ra reDoes rooms, a Washington DC based Home staging and interior decorating company.
I came up with the blog name after working with many clients who didn’t think about their decor until they learn they are having an ‘unexpected house guest’. Not as in a little furry animal, but meaning a parent, (mother-in-laws get a bad rep here) relative, college buddy, anyone who calls to stay in the home overnight, leaving the hosts with less than a week to prepare.
So I hope to motivate you to make improvements, updates, and get your home together BEFORE the Unexpected House guest arrives. And also keep you informed on new and exciting things I see on my travels as well!
